The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing images of two men and a truck as part of an assault investigation.

On March 5, 2024, around 7:15 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to a commercial location on the 900-block of 8th Street, for a report of an assault involving two suspects, one of which was allegedly armed with what appeared to be a handgun.

On scene, officers located a victim with obvious injuries that were fortunately non-life threatening, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. The motive for the assault is unknown at this time.

To help further the investigation, police are releasing three images to the public with the hope that someone will recognize the suspects or vehicle.

The first suspect is described as:

• Caucasian male
• Middle aged
• Wearing a brown and plaid jacket and dark pants

The second suspect is described as:

• Male
• Stocky
• Shorter
• Wearing a camo jacket and black face mask

The vehicle is a white Dodge Ram with the following features:

• Running boards
• Black window vents
• Black tonneau cover
• Black hood scoop
