ByLaw Complaint Leads to Multi Agency Investigation of Rural Hatzic Property

On the morning of June 19th, 2017, Mission RCMP responded to a bylaw complaint at a residence in the 35000 block of the Lougheed Highway. As Police entered the property investigators identified a pickup truck which had been reported as stolen.

Police took control of the property after a male and female were arrested and taken into Police custody.

Mission RCMP conducted a warrant execution for the property providing investigators with several more items being recovered as stolen property, as well as firearms and drugs.

The SPCA were called in to take conduct of several uncared for animals located on the property which resulted in the animals being seized.

Mission RCMP continue to the investigation as several charges are pending before the courts.
