As an update, Investigators have obtained a more current photograph of Carmel GILMOUR (photo attached). GILMOUR's van, (which has been recovered by police) is a brown 2002 Chevrolet Venture with BC Licence: EX976V. Investigation to date suggests that the van was in the area of Little Mountain Road, Parksville on November 14. The van was then seen in the area of the 3100 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on November 15, where it was later recovered by police on November 21.

Investigators are trying to clarify GILMOUR's physical movements, either in the van or while on foot (possibly hitch-hiking). This would include people that she may have been with or spoken to between November 14 and now.
